Architecture & interiors in Prestbury
Prestbury pairs one of Cheshire’s prettiest historic village cores with some of its most substantial homes. I work with owners on both: listed village houses and the large family houses along the Bollin valley.
The houses of Prestbury
The conservation-area core around the church carries timber-framed and Georgian houses; beyond it, Victorian and Edwardian gentlemen’s houses and later executive homes sit in mature grounds toward Macclesfield and the Peak fringe. Two very different design problems share one postcode.
A design note for Prestbury
In the village core the work is careful surgery within listed fabric; in the valley houses it’s usually reorganisation — kitchens promoted from service quarters, circulation untangled, gardens reconnected. Knowing which problem you own is the first consultation’s job.
How I can help here
Whole-house thinking first, always: architecture, interior design and architecture & interior design combined as one appointment, with a free first conversation and a £595 consultation as the intelligent first steps and buyers advice before you commit to a purchase. I work with homeowners in Prestbury and the surrounding villages — there is no shopfront to visit; I come to the house, which is where the answers are.

Is our listed village house a difficult project?
Difficult is the wrong word — it’s a project that rewards experience. Consent shapes the possible; good design finds generosity inside it.
We want one designer for everything. Is that you?
That is the whole premise of my practice: architecture, interiors and delivery support held by one person you can actually reach.
